What is the Ohio Creations Network? (OCN)
The Ohio Creations Network (OCN) is an expanding system of local artists, actors, makers, writers, graphic designers, creative managers, and more. Our system connects local artists across the state with other hobbyists, semi-professional, and professionals from many different skillsets together for the common goal of creating art & projects within the community.
Is it free to join the network?
Yes, any qualified artist is eligible to join the Ohio Creations Network for free! We will not charge artists within our network to access our exclusive network channels, resources, job postings, or other content shared by members within the network.
How long does it take for my application to be reviewed?
Your application is typically reviewed within 24-48 business hours. There is no action needed on your part to confirm you have joined our network. However, you are more than welcome to contact us to verify.
How do I receive payment for paid jobs/gigs?
Upon successful completion of all paid jobs, Ohio Creations will provide payment to the artist/artists in full. You will be required to submit a W9 to work as an independant contractor for Ohio Creations. All W9 employees will receive a 1099 at the end of the tax year.
